How to send BruinBuy Shipments to a Remote Workers Home

 Effective April 25, 2022, submitting an R-class requisition to Campus Purchasing for shipment to an employee’s home is no longer required.   If a department has an expenditure that is appropriate for home delivery they can issue the Purchase Order to the supplier with the home address in the body.  However, the department must confirm if a Purchase Order with the shipping address in the body can be accepted by the supplier. Home addresses should not be added to the permanent ship-to listing in BruinBuy. 

The process for the Work from Home (WFH) furniture program for the FlexWork concept remains with no changes. 

Purchase Orders created from BruinBuy catalogs and punchouts cannot be shipped to home addresses. In order to have items shipped to a non UCLA location from a catalog vendor, departments will have to create an A-class Purchase Order with that catalogue vendor and put the home address in the body of the Purchase Order.
