Supplier deliveries and outgoing shipments via third-party carriers and/or supplier proprietary fleets may be disrupted during the United Auto Workers (UAW) strike. UPS has announced they will decline to cross the picket line. If you leverage UPS for time-sensitive and/or cold chain deliveries, the UC community recommends temporarily moving to FedEx. Receiving processes and delivers hundreds of packages each business day. These items are delivered throughout the Center for Health Sciences. We are the primary pick-up site for Federal Express, UPS and DHL.
Delivery Policy
Due to the high volume of urgent parcels and perishable items received on a daily basis, receiving is unable to guarantee an exact time for delivery. However, every effort is made to expedite delivery of all urgent parcels in a timely and efficient manner. In most cases, urgent deliveries are completed each day before noon. For extremely important packages you are welcome to come to the Receiving area for pick-up (CHS A6-081).
